It is expected that Franchisees will typically open their businesses 4 to 7 months after they sign a franchise agreement. The factors that affect this time are the ability to obtain a lease, financing or building permits, zoning and local ordinances, weather conditions, shortages, and delayed installation of equipment, fixtures and signs.
OBLIGATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTUAL OPERATION OF THE FRANCHISE BUSINESS
You must be actively involved in the day to day operations of the franchise business. You may not have any other business interests that compete with or conflict with the operation of the franchised business without the written agreement of PITC. PITC does not require that you personally supervise the franchised business. The business must be directly supervised on premises by a manager who has successfully completed PITC's training program. The on premises manager can not have an interest or business relationship with any of PITC's business competitors. The manager need not have an ownership interest in the corporate or partnership franchisee.
EARNINGS CLAIMS REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING EARNINGS CAPABILITY
PITC does not furnish or authorize its sales persons to furnish any oral or written information concerning the actual or potential sales, costs, income or profits of a PITC franchise. Actual results vary from unit to unit and PITC cannot estimate the results of any particular franchise.
