Dr. Shahid Ahmed has 10 years of experience in computing and software development. He started his business in 1991, after many years of work at Bell Communications Research, Franklin Research Center, and Babcock and Wilcox. For several years he was an Adjunct Professor at the Systems Engineering department at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, and an MBA (Finance) from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ahmed has extensive consulting experience with such clients as NASA, USNRC, Sargent & Lundy, High Technology Corporation, French company EDF, Australian company ANSTO, and the United Nations.

Dr. Ahmed has initiated and provided the leadership for successfully completing the E-Fooderp ERP package. Dr. Ahmed is currently devoting his full time interacting with customers for E-Fooderp implementations and managing a group of highly motivated consultants..

He has been teaching programming languages, databases, enterprise networking and web commerce. He teaches courses in Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, and VC++ programming. His client/server and database teaching experience include Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Oracle8, and Oracle Developer/2000. He specializes in Windows NT 4.0 implementation. He is active in the internet/intranet development using Microsoft Visual InterDev, FronPage, ActiveX, and Microsoft Internet Information Server.
Dr. Ahmed conducts the business process assessment to determine the system integration and training needs for corporations.

Dr. Ahmed is a long-distance runner. He has completed the London Marathon in 1998, the New York Marathon in 1996, and the Philadelphia Marathon in 1995.
