Diploma: Software Analyst Beginner’s Track C
Program Pre-requisites: This package is designed for individuals who have experience in windows environment, but does not require any experience in programming.
Program Objectives: Students completing the program should have the necessary skills to become employed as an entry-level basic web developer, designer of documents, database, or a basic level programmer.
Topics covered are as follows:

Fundamentals of Programming using Qbasic: working with program files, Qbasic environments, understanding numeric variables and constants, REMarks and additional PRINT options, string variables, inputting values, producing better output, comparing data, READ and DATA statements, FOR-NEXT, WHILE-WEND, and DO loops, the SELECT-CASE statement, introduction to arrays, multidimensional arrays, numeric functions, string functions, user-defined functions, subroutines and function procedures, variable scope, reading and writing to disk, sequential disk processing, random access disk processing.
Basics of HTML: using HTML editors, organizing content, understanding tags, adding comments, understanding hexadecimal color, formatting paragraphs, using headings, working with links, customizing links, using images, linking images, understanding Plug-ins, Active-X controls, and Helper applications, embedding multimedia, creating lists, nesting lists, using tables, formatting tables, developing frames, creating a basic frameset, linking between frames, understanding forms, creating a basic form, creating your own web graphics, file formats, web content, creating effective links, understanding cascading style sheets, formatting pages, making pages available to others, creating domain names, uploading your pages, testing the website.
